US president Joe Biden appeared to trip and fall while he was climbing the steps to board Air Force One in Warsaw, Poland. The video of the incident, which was widely shared on social media, showed Joe Biden falling near the top of the staircase before catching himself, turning to wave and entering the aircraft.
The incident occurred shortly after the US president was scheduled to return to Washington, DC from a trip to Poland and Ukraine.

There was no immediate response from the White House to the incident. Joe Biden fell on the same set of steps at Joint Base Andrews nearly two years ago. The White House then stated that the president of the United States was "doing 100% fine" and blamed the fall on the wind after footage of him tripping over multiple steps was released.
"Outside, it's pretty windy, very windy. I nearly fell coming up the means myself. At the time, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters, "He is doing 100% fine."
Kate Bedingfield, who is in charge of communications at the White House, then said, "Nothing more than a misstep on the stairs."
Joe Biden paid a surprise trip to Ukraine this week and met with President Volodymyr Zelensky to reaffirm his support for the country in the face of the Russian invasion. Following this, Joe Biden went to Poland and met Andrzej Duda, his Polish counterpart.
The world was anticipating Kyiv's fall one year ago. Now that I've returned from a trip to Kiev, I can report: Kiev holds firm! Ukraine is proud. It is massive. And the most important thing is that it is free,” Joe Biden stated.
