The company stated that animated and custom emojis can be used for these pictures by anyone, regardless of whether they have Telegram Premium. In addition, "Emoji Categories" was added by the company, where stickers and emoji are sorted by category for users.

The company added that while Telegram users can send more than a million distinct stickers and emojis, selecting the appropriate one does not require full-time employment. The messaging platform also introduced the "Network Usage" feature, which lets users adjust their auto-download settings to fit their data plan and see how much data Telegram has used with detailed pie charts for Wi-Fi and mobile data.

Users can control when media is automatically saved to their gallery based on its size, type, and chat from which it was received with the "Auto-Save Incoming Media" feature. Additionally, this feature allows for exceptions, allowing users to save only what they want.
