During Sony's current fiscal year, which ends March 31, 2023, the PlayStation has sold at least 10.7 million units. Additionally, SIE CEO Jim Ryan disclosed that December was the PlayStation 5's best-ever month for sales. This indicates that the increased availability of the consoles has undoubtedly contributed to an even greater increase in progress.
By the end of the current fiscal year, Sony anticipates that it will have sold 18 million units. Between now and the end of March, Sony will need to move a lot of PS5s in order to reach that number.
