Rishabh Pant Injured In Car Crash

 



Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant has sustained injuries after his car collided with the divider and caught fire while he was travelling from Delhi to Uttarakhand. Pant was driving his Mercedes car, which met with an accident near Roorkee in Uttarakhand. Director General of Uttarakhand Police, Ashok Kumar, has confirmed that the cricketer was alone in the car at the time of the accident and broke the windscreen to escape from the vehicle after it caught fire.

As a result of the accident, he has been hurt in the head, knee, and shin. He is currently receiving treatment at the Max Hospital in Dehradun for a possible leg fracture.

"An accident occurred in the car of Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant around 5:30 in the morning. Near Roorkee, the incident occurred at Mohammedpur Jat. According to Pant, he fell asleep while driving, causing the car to crash into the wall and catch fire. He was transferred to the Roorkee hospital, where he is currently being transferred to Dehradun," DGP Ashok Kumar informed the media.

Rishabh Pant is currently receiving treatment for an injury to his waist, according to Max Hospital physician Dr. Ashish Yagnik. He is aware and out of danger.

He was supposed to enroll in a strength and conditioning program at the National Cricket Academy ahead of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy matchup with Australia in February, but he was recently dropped from the T20I team that was announced for the series against Sri Lanka.

Pushkar Singh Dhami, chief minister of Uttarakhand, has stated that the state will cover the entire cost of Rishabh Pant's treatment and that, in the event that Pant needs to be moved, an air ambulance will be available.
