Man kills his live-in partner and dumps his body in the fridge at delhi

The Delhi woman whose body was found in a fridge at a roadside restaurant on Tuesday was strangled with a data cable by her live-in boyfriend, police sources said today.

Similar to the Shraddha Walkar murder case, Sahil Gehlot, 24, has been arrested for allegedly killing his girlfriend and trying to cover it up. After an argument, he allegedly killed Nikki Yadav, 23, and decided to put her body in the fridge of his family's dhaba.

Sources reported that the vehicle in which Nikki Yadav allegedly died has been seized. He has been placed in police custody for five days.

On the day of the murder, Sahil, a 24-year-old pharmaceutical graduate, allegedly married another woman. Nikki confronted Sahil after learning very late that he was engaged to another woman.

Sahil was located by the police after Nikki Yadav went missing. Nikki had been reported missing by her neighbor; Her family in Jhajjar, Haryana, was unaware of her whereabouts.

In the meantime, she was probably last seen alive when she was captured on camera entering her home on February 9 by a security camera.

According to the police, Nikki and Sahil met while preparing for medical entrance exams and lived together for years.

Sunil Yadav, her father, has called for Sahil to be put to death.

The murder of Shraddha Walkar in Delhi last year is eerily similar to this incident. According to police, Shraddha's live-in partner Aaftab Poonawalla allegedly killed her by breaking her body into several pieces and storing them in a fridge with a capacity of 300 liters before dumping them in a forest.
