With the Instagram Collabs feature, users can share posts or Reels with other accounts. Because the content can be viewed by followers of the original author and co-authors, the feature will get more views.
A collaboration request must be sent by the post's author to another user. The collaborative post will be added to both the original author's and collaborators' timelines once it is accepted. Any collaborator can be added or removed at any time by the original author. The post will also be removed from the collaborator's profile if the original author deletes it.
However, a user with a private Instagram account cannot invite collaborators.
How to invite collaborator
Step 1: Go to your Instagram account
Step 2: Create a post or reel to create.
Step 3: Proceed with the content sharing.
Step 4: From the menu, select the option to "tag people."
Step 5: Click the button that says "invite collaborator" in the upper right corner.
Step 6: Type the username of the user with whom you want to collaborate.
Note: For a single post, you can add multiple accounts as collaborators. Nevertheless, they must accept your Collab request.
Step 7: Now, move on to share.
How to accept request
If another user asks you to collaborate on a post, you must accept the invitation.
Step 1: Go to your Instagram account.
Step 2: From the activity page on Instagram, select the invitation notification.
Step 3: Accept the request by tapping the review button.
Your timeline will now display the post. It will also show the accounts with which you have worked together.
