Guinness World Record Set By Twin Sisters with Staggering 75 Cm Height Difference

Guinness World Records has been set by Japanese twin sisters with an extraordinary height difference. Michie Kikuchi, who lives in Okayama, Japan, and her sister Yoshie are staggeringly separated by 75 centimeters (2.5 feet, 5.5 inches). The Guinness World Record for the largest height difference among living non-identical twins (female) has been awarded to the twin sisters.

It is normal to expect identical-looking twins. However, the 33-year-old sisters are distinguished by their height and facial features. Yoshie is tall at 162.5 cm, or 5 feet 4 inches, while Michie is 87.5 cm, or 2 feet 10.5 inches.

Twitter was used by Guinness World Records to tell their story. New data: Yoshie and Michie Kikuchi (Japan) have the greatest height difference of any living female fraternal twins. Despite their differences, Yoshie and Michie remain the closest of sisters."

The Kikuchi sisters were born on October 15, 1989, according to a Guinness World Records press release. They are fraternal twins who were born after two separate eggs were fertilized. Congenital spinal epiphyseal dysplasia is a disorder of the bones that prevents Michie from growing.

Michie lives at her parents' house and helps her father run the temple on a day-to-day basis.

Yoshie is now a mother and has left the family home.

"I read about the shortest man back in 2012 and I was shocked," Michie told Guinness World Records. While I was shy about my condition, there is a man out there who promotes his short height as a virtue.
