Animated video of an ISKCON temple’s mobile cosmic chandelier is wrongly attributed to NASA

Claim: Animation video made by NASA which shows 14 worlds according to Vedas.

Many people are spreading a video that depicts 14 lokas or worlds according to the Vedas and claims to be an animation film made by NASA. Let's check the assertion in the post.

Internet search using relevant keywords led us to an YouTube video of the same uploaded by “Temple of Vedic Planetarium (TOVP)” on 11 January 2021. Description & introduction of the video states that the animation video is a computer model of a mobile cosmic Chandelier that will be hung from the ceiling of the Temple of Vedic Planetarium (TOVP).

As per the TOVP’s official website, this temple, located in West Bengal’s Mayapur, is being built by ISKCON and is scheduled to complete by 2024. Same video is available on this website too. Moreover, we couldn’t find any such video on NASA’s website or media reports about such a video.

To sum it up, animation video of an ISKCON temple’s mobile cosmic chandelier is falsely attributed to NASA.

Conclusion: NASA did not create this animated film. A mobile cosmic chandelier that will be hung from the ceiling of the "Temple of Vedic Planetarium" (TOVP) is depicted in this animated video. It exemplifies the universe-view of the Vedas. In Mayapur, West Bengal, ISKCON is building this temple. Consequently, the post's claim is Misleading.
