The Hyderabad Swiggy delivery boy jumped from the third floor to escape a from dog


On Saturday, a Swiggy delivery worker who was being treated for injuries suffered when he jumped from the third floor of an apartment in Hyderabad after being chased by a dog.

Mohammed Rizwan, 23, a food Swiggy delivery agent, was killed while delivering an order to an apartment building in Banjara Hills. According to police, he went to the Banjara Hills' Lumbini Rock Castle Apartments to deliver food to K Shobhana. The customer's dog, a German Shepherd, barked at him and lunged at the door when he knocked on the door of the apartment.


He jumped from the apartment's third floor out of fear. He was brought as quickly as possible to the Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), where he was taken in with a critical condition. He later passed away on Saturday evening from his injuries.



“The family dog, a German Shepherd, rushed out of the house as Rizwan was handing over the package to the customer and pounced on him. Rizwan tried to get away by running for safety out of fear of being attacked. However, the dog pursued him, and he jumped from the third floor of the building, according to M Narender, an inspector of police in the Banjara Hills.

He went on to say that "The Swiggy delivery boy Mohammed Rizwan succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment on Saturday at approximately 6.30 p.m." The case has been changed to section 304(A) of the IPC, and additional investigation is currently underway.
