Jeremy Renner star of Hawkeye, is critical but stable after a snow plowing accident.



According to a spokesperson for the actor, Jeremy Renner, who injured himself while plowing snow in Reno, Nevada, over the weekend, is in a "critical but stable condition." According to entertainment website Deadline, the 'Hawkeye' actor is receiving "excellent care" following the accident that occurred on Sunday. The media report added that he was transported to the hospital by air. 

Mr. Renner is the star of Marvel's "Avengers" and "Captain America" films, and he has been nominated for two Oscars. According to the Reno Gazette Journal, he has resided in Washoe County, Nevada, for a number of years.

The Reno Gazette Journal added that more than 35,000 homes in Washoe and other counties lost power as a result of the heavy snowfall on New Year's Eve in the area where his house is located.

Mr. Renner's performance in "The Hurt Locker" earned him a nomination for Best Actor at the 2010 Academy Awards. His performance in "The Town" earned him another nomination for Best Supporting Actor.

Presently streaming on Paramount+, Mr. Renner appears in "Mayor of Kingstown." The show's second season is expected to premiere this month.

Mr. Renner has appeared in Marvel films and has also played important roles in "Mission: Impossible: Impossible, American Hustle, Arrival, and 28 Weeks Later.
