Under one of the viral posts, people pointed out that the visuals were from the Bengaluru airport. Taking a cue from this, we ran a keyword search on Twitter and found a video with similar visuals tweeted by Karnataka’s Health Minister Dr. Sudhakar K on October 18.
Per his tweet, the video was shot at the new Terminal 2 of Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport, which is to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 11.
Images from the new terminal were also tweeted by ANI on November 9.
As per reports, Terminal 2 of the Bengaluru airport was constructed at a cost of Rs. 5,000 crore. As a tribute to the Garden City, the terminal also contains a heritage theme park in an area covering 23 acres. A 108 feet tall bronze statue of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda, the founder of Bengaluru city, is also part of the new project.
Meanwhile, the first airport in Arunachal Pradesh’s Itanagar, Donyi Polo Airport is soon to become operational. As per an Airport Authority of India tweet from November 8, the airport has a huge entrance made up of bamboo and it showcases the shape of the state bird, the Great Hornbill.
